Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Today on arrival at Delhi, our representative will assist you at the airport and transfer to hotel. (Check in time at hotel is 1400 hrs.). Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Delhi, covering Red Fort from outside (Closed on Monday), Jama Masjid & Gandhi Memorial (Raj Ghat). Enjoy cycle rickshaw ride on the street of Chandini chowak market Also visit Humayun`s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Drive pass through Parliament House, Presidents house & India Gate. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi/Nawalgarh (260 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Nawalgarh - founded in the beginning of 18th century by Thakur Nawal Singh, a warrior-statesman. The city boasts of some of the finest frescoes in Shekhawati region. This typical Rajasthani town reflects the old world charm through its colorful bazaars and hand- painted havelis. On arrival check-in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Roop Niwas Palace, Ganga Mai Temple and the British Clock Tower. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Nawalgar/Bikaner (225 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Bikaner- "The camel City". Upon arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Raj Ratan Bihari temple, Junagarh Fort, Camel breading farm and the Karni Mata Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Bikaner/Jaisalmer (330 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Jaisalmer - a former medieval trading center and a princely state in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the "Golden City," it`s distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed to visit Jaisalmer Fort, Jain Temple, Salim ji Ki Haveli, Nathmal ki Haveli and Gadsisar Lake. Late afternoon proceed for Camel safari at Sam sand dune - a unique experience of the Desert with cultural program and also enjoy photogenic sunset. Later return to your hotel in Jaisalmer. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Jaisalmer/Jodhpur (285 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Jodhpur- "The Sun City". The city is bestowed with mesmerizing and scenic landscapes. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Jodhpur
After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing of Jodhpur covering Majestic Mehrangarh Fort - which is housing one of the biggest museum in Rajasthan with a collection of the weapons and many artifacts. Also visit Jaswant Thada - the cenotaph built in white marble. At evening visit clock tower and local market of Jodhpur. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Jodhpur/Udaipur via Ranakpur (287 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Udaipur, enroute visit Ranakpur for its astonishing Chaumukha Jain Temple which popular for magnificent carving on 1444 non replicable marble pillars, each one has been designed for represents its own different theme. After visit continue drive to Udaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Udaipur
After breakfast proceed for half day city tour of Udaipur, covering City Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the Maids of Honor), Jagdish Temple, Pratap Smarak, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal & Shilp Gram. At evening enjoy the boat ride at lake Pichola- experience of which is beyond any comparison. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Udaipur/Pushkar (280 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Pushkar - one of India’s oldest towns. Pushkar is a famous destination for the Hindu devotees. It has a great number of temples and 50 bathing ghats. It’s believed that Brahma had dropped a lotus here, which resulted in the emergence of a holy lake. Upon arrival at Pushkar, check in at hotel. In the evening we explore the spiritual facets of this relaxed holy town Pushkar on foot. Latter visit Brahma temple & Pushkar lake. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Pushkar/Jaipur (145 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Jaipur - the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or “Pink City” for its trademark building colour. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
At evening optional (additional payment basis) Jaipur city heritage walk –(Start point - Choti Chaupar and finish point - Johri Bazaar, Jaipur, Duration: 2 - 2.5 Hours) - Explore the geometrically precise architecture of the city and the significance of its `Chaupars` (intersection points). Visit the old stables converted into market. Takes a bird eye view of walled Pink City from one of the bigest towers (Optional). Walk through the market of bangle makers and see a demonstration of bangle making with - Sealing wax. Witness a narrow lane full of bridal clothing shops. This will leave you spellbound. Walk though some of the most interesting artisians & old houses (Havelis). Gemstone workshop & enjoy a hi-tea while witnessing gemstone bullion. Closely observe the gathering of local sellers selling the milk products for making the most delicious Indian sweets. An accompanying walks` Explorer.
Day 13 : Jaipur
After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Amer Fort - Ascend the fort on Elephants back. In the afternoon take city tour of Jaipur visiting the City palace, the Jantar Mantar (observatory), the Palace of Winds, photo stop at Albert hall museum. At evening witness aarti ceremony at Birla Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 : Jaipur/Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (250 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Agra, en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri - built during 1571 and 1585. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. After visit continue drive to Agra, on arrival at check-in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
At evening optional visit (additional payment basis) of Mohabbat the taj show - that depicts the romantic love story of Emperor Shajahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in the famous theatre Kalakriti Cultural and Convention Center. The live show is in both Hindi and Urdu languages and interpretation is available in English, French and German through headphones. Reporting time at Theatre for show is 1800 hours. During the one and half hours you will not only be touched by the beautiful story but also to experience the lavish lifestyle of the Mughal Empire. Their grandeur and extravaganza is well put forward in the creative dance performances.
Day 15 : Agra/Delhi (210 Kms) Departure
After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to visit the famous Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) - built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble took 22 years to complete (1630-1652 AD). Also visit Agra Fort - which has the Pearl Mosque, Diwan-e-am (the hall of public audience) and Diwan-e-Khas (the hall of private audience). Later drive to Delhi and transfer straight to airport to board the flight to onward destination.
