Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Today on arrival at Delhi, our representative will assist you at the airport and transfer to hotel. (Check in time at hotel is 1400 hrs.). Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Delhi, covering Red Fort from outside (Closed on Monday), Jama Masjid & Gandhi Memorial (Raj Ghat). Enjoy cycle rickshaw ride on the street of Chandini chowak market Also visit Humayun`s Tomb, and Qutub Minar. Drive pass through Parliament House, Presidents house & India Gate. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi/Agra (210 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Agra, on arrival at check-in at hotel. Later proceed to visit the famous Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) - built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble took 22 years to complete (1630-1652 AD). Also visit Agra Fort - which has the Pearl Mosque, Diwan-e-am (the hall of public audience) and Diwan-e-Khas (the hall of private audience). Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Agra/Ramathara (200 Kms/4 ½ Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Ramathra. On arrival check in at hotel. Later take a ride to the Ramathra Fort which is located between Keoladeo Ghana Sanctuary and Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Also you can visit the lake, use your camera to capture the wild life around you. At evening visit local market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Ramathara/Bundi (245 Kms/5 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Bundi - This quaint little picture-perfect city boasts of a towering fort that has never been conquered. A palace with amazing fresco’s and mirrors, over 50 baoris (step wells) with the most magnificent architecture. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed to Visit Taragarh fort - is the most impressive of the city’s structures. Bundi palace and Chaurasi kambhon ki Chatri. Also visit Rani Ji Ki Baori. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Bundi/Chittorgarh/Bassi (170 Kms/2 ½ Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Chittorgarh- one of the finest forts in the country a huge rock of 3 miles long and 495 feet high is still in existence. It is a land where the ideals of chivalry, sacrifice and honor were always worshipped. The place is truly a symbolic representation of noble and brave traditions of the Rajputs. Evening drive to Bassi village for a rural Rajasthan and stay. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Chittorgarh (Bassi)
After breakfast proceed to visit Bassi - famous for its sculptures and woodcraft. One can also visit two large water reservoirs which are used as irrigation dams called as Bassi Dam and Orai Dam- enjoy angling, boating and bird watching on these dams. Wildlife lovers are attracted in large number to Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary which showcases some exotic species of animals and birds in their natural habitat. During your walk through the village, you’ll see local craftspeople at work and have plenty of opportunity to meet with the villagers. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Chittorgarh (Bassi)/Deogarh (230 Kms/4 ½ Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Deoghar - located at a height of 2100 ft above sea level. On arrival check in at hotel. The main attraction of Deogarh is Deogarh Mahal – built in the 17 century is now converted into a heritage hotel. The palace stands a top of hill offer a spectacular view of the Aravali mountain range, lakes and countryside. Deogarh is renowned for a school of miniature painting which is still in practice and this art form is very popular in Rajasthan and other parts of India. On the fort walls, frescoes art form can be seen. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Deogarh/Narlai (75 Kms/1 ½ Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Narlai - a quaint little hamlet situated between Jodhpur and Udaipur. Surrounded by an assorted landscape that offers rocky outcrops, lakes & forests. On arrival check in at hotel. Later in the evening proceed for Village walk at Narlai - is an excursion into the village to look at the traditional way people live there even today. Narlai is a very close-knit community and each individual comes across happy, contented and proud. Agriculture, cattle and its supporting income make them content with a simple life. During the walk you can go inside some of the houses, talk to people, ask questions, have a cup of tea or smoke a bidi with them. The Village walk is ideally done in morning before the villagers depart for grazing or in the evening during their return. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Narlai
Early morning proceed for Elephant hill walk to enjoy the sunrise - “The view from the Narlai hill is spectacular. The statue of the white elephant on the summit of the Narlai hill offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and the village below. A guided climb of over 700 steps to the summit of this hill gives a spectacular view of sunrise or sunset.
After breakfast proceed for Leopard jeep safari - The rugged Godwad countryside around Narlai suits the leopards and over a period the number has increased. Experience the thrill of customized ride on our jeeps for a sighting of this beautiful and graceful cat. Not easy to spot as they blend very well into the background, these cats can sometimes be seen sunning themselves on the rocks or resting under the shade of a tree. Unlike the lions, leopards do not stay in a pride and are solitary by nature and have large territories that they roam in. But sometimes they can be spotted in pairs. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Narlai/Osian (200 Kms/4 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Osian - is an ancient town located in the middle of the Thar Desert. Often known as the "Khajuraho of Rajasthan", Ossian is famous as the home to a cluster of ruined Brahmanical and Jain temples dating from the 8th to 11th centuries. On arrival check in at hotel. Later visit the Osiyan temple. At evening enjoy camel ride at Sand dune. Overnight at Camp.
Day 12 : Osian/Bikaner (200 Kms/4 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Bikaner- "The camel City". Upon arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Junagarh Fort, Camel breading farm and the Karni Mata Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : Bikaner/Nawalgarh (230 Kms/4 ½ Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Nawalgarh - founded in the beginning of 18th century by Thakur Nawal Singh, a warrior-statesman. The city boasts of some of the finest frescoes in Shekhawati region. This typical Rajasthani town reflects the old world charm through its colorful bazaars and hand- painted havelis. On arrival check-in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Roop Niwas Palace, Ganga Mai Temple and the British Clock Tower. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 : Nawalgarh/Delhi (280 Kms/6 Hrs.) Departure
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Delhi, on arrival transfer straight to airport to board the flight to onward destination.
