Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Today on arrival at Delhi, our reprsentative will assist you at the airport and transfer to hotel (Check in time is 1400 Hrs.). Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi/Haridwar (By train)
Early morning check out from hotel and transfer to railway station to board the train to Haridwar. on arrival at Haridwar, pick up from railway station and transfer to hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing covering Mansa devi temple, Chandi devi temple, Daksha Mahadev temple, Bharat Mata Temple and Har ki Pauri at evening to attend Ganga aarti ceremony. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Haridwar/Guptkashi (200 Kms/7 to 8 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Guptkashi, upon arrival at Guptkashi Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Guptkashi/Gaurikund (32 Kms drive)/Kedarnath (19 Kms trek)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Gourikund. From where, you will start our trek to Kedarnath. Either by walk or by horse or by Doli (at own cost). On arrival at Kedarnath, check-in into lodge. In the evening visit Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple and Darshan at temple during evening Aarti. Overnight at the Lodge.
Note : Kedarnath temple open only 6 months (May to October) every year due to snow fall in winters.
Day 05 : Kedarnath/Gaurikund (19 Kms trek)/Guptkashi (32 Kms drive
After breakfast trek down to Gaurikund and then drive to Guptkashi. Check in at the Hotel/camp. Overnight at hotel/Camp.
Day 06 : Guptkashi/Haridwar (200 Kms/7 Hrs Drive)/Delhi (By Train)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Haridwar. on arrival transfer to railway station to board the train to Delhi. on arrival at Delhi, pick up from railway station and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Delhi/Varanashi (Flight)
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to airport to board the flight to Varanasi - one of the oldest city of the world that is still inhabited. It was the heart of Hinduism birth. On arrival at Varanasi, pick up from airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for city tour of Varanasi covering, some of the holy temples of the city which encapsulates the ambiance and the spirit of the city. The Temple of Vishwanath (or Visheshwar, Lord of the Universe, popularly known as the Golden Temple), This Jyotirlingam is one of the twelve jyotirlingams of India. BHU-Banaras Hindu university (outside visit) - established way back in the year 1916 boasts about largest university campus in the entire Asian continent. Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple & Bharat Mata temple. At evening witness evening aarti ceremony at Ganga ghat (Highlight of Varanasi). Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Varanasi/Deoghar by HW HWH Exp - 12370 (1305/2209)
Early morning you will enjoy sunrise boat ride on river Ganges (1 Hrs.) - It gives a glimpse of morning life along the ghats in Varanasi. These boats are slow moving and help us to see stunning sun rise over the horizon with Ganga in the foreground, the panoramic views of ghats and the morning life on ghats. Return to hotel for breakfast and check out. Transfer to railway station to board the train to Jasidih. On arrival, pick up from railway station and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Deoghar/Kolkata by Train - 13186 (2352/0700)
After breakfast proceed to visit Baba Baidyanath (Jyothirling)- also known as Baba Baidyanath dham and Baidyanath dham is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the most sacred abodes of Shiva. It is located in Deoghar in the Santhal Parganas division of the state of Jharkhand, India. It is a temple complex consisting of the main temple of Baba Baidyanath, where the Jyotirlinga is installed and 21 other temples.
Later in time transfer to Jasidih railway station to board the train to Kolkata. Overnight at train.
Day 10 : Kolkata
Today on arrival at Kolkata, pick up from railway station and transfer to hotel. Later proceed to visit Victoria Memorial, the Jain Temple, Marble Palace mansion, Dalhousie Square (interesting architecture). Also visit the home of Mother Teresa’s Ashram Home of Children - a visit there can be an emotional and enlightening experience. For a spot of shopping head to the Maidan (a market). Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Kolkata/Madurai (Flight)/Rameshwaram (175 Kms/3 Hrs. Drive)
After breakfast check –out from the hotel and transfer to aiport to board the flight to Madurai (Via Chennai flight). On arrival at Madurai, pick up from airport and drive straight to Rameswaram. on arrival check in at hotel. Later visit Ramanathaswamy Temple (Jyothirling) - the temple is considered one of the four destinations covered in Real Char Dham Pilgrimage. There are 22 holy springs in the temple premises which are believed to have medicinal effect Rameshwaram is one of the most significant pilgrimage centres in South India for both Shaivites (Shiv followers) and Vaishnavaites (Vishnu Followers). It was here that Rama offered thanks to Shiva. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Rameshwaram/Madurai (175 Kms/3 Hrs. Drive)/Hyderabad (Flight)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Madurai, on arrival proceed to visit Meenakshi Temple - also known as Meenakshi Amman Temple is an ancient and one amongst the most important temples of India. Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple is dedicated to Sundareswar (form of Lord Shiva) and Meenakshi (form of Goddess Parvati). The term "Sundareswar" suggests "the beautiful lord" and "Meenakshi" means "the fish-eyed goddess". Later transfer to airport to board the flight to Hyderabad. On arrival, pick up from Hyderabad and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : Hyderabad/Srisailam (215 Kms/4 1/2 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Srisailam. On arrival check – in to hotel. After freshen up proceed for darsan of Mallikarjuna Jyotilinga - The shrine of Lord Mallikarjuna picturesquely situated on a flat top of Nallamalai Hills, Srisailam is reputed to be one of the most ancient kshetras in India. It is on the right side of the River Krishna in Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh. This is one of the greatest Salivate shrines in India and it constitutes one of the 12 Jyotirlingam shrines of Shiva. The presiding deities here are Mallikarjuna (Shiva) and Bhramaramba (Devi). Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 : Srisalam/Hyderabad (215 Kms/4 1/2 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Hyderabad - the capital of southern India`s Telangana state. A major center for the technology industry, it`s home to many upscale restaurants and shops. It’s a former diamond-trading center that was once the Qutb Shahi dynastic capital. The Charminar, a 16th-century mosque whose 4 arches support towering minarets, is an old city landmark near the long-standing Laad Bazaar. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free for leisure and shopping. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 : Hyderabad/Pune (Flight)/Bhimshankar/Chakan (190 Kms/5 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to airport to board the flight to Pune. On arrival at Pune, pick up from airport and drive straight to Bhimashankar (Jyothirling) - Bhimashankar an ancient shrine, Bhimashankar is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga of Shiva. It is in the Ghat region of the Sahyadri hills. Bhimashankar is also the source of the river Bhima, which flows south east and merges with the Krishna River near Raichur. After Pooja and Darsan, continue drive to Chakan. On arrival, Check-in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16 : Chakan/Shani Temple/Aurangabad (236 Kms/4 1/2 Hrs.)
After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Aurangabad, en route visit Shani Temple - The presiding deity of Shinganapur, Sri Shaneshwara or Lord Shanidev- the personification of the planet Saturn is worshipped with utmost reverence and devotion by multitudes of people from all over the world. The spectacle of the deity in black stone is overwhelming. A unique aspect of this place is, that no temple structure houses the Shanidev. There is only a simple platform on which stands the swayambhu idol, in black stone. After darsan, continue drive to Aurangabad. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17 : Aurangabad/Grishneshwar/Shirdi/Nasik (225 Kms/5 1/2 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to visit Grishneshwar (Jyothirling) - an ancient pilgrimage site revered as the abode of one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva. It is located at a distance of 11 km from Daulatabad near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. After Pooja and Darsan, continue drive to Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba is revered as one of the greatest saints ever seen in India, endowed with unprecedented powers, and is worshipped as a God incarnate. On arrival Shirdi, visit Sai Baba Samadhi temple for VIP Darshan (Own Cost). Later continue drive to Nasik. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 18 : Nasik/Trimbakeshwar/Indore (475 Kms/9 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Triambakeshwar (Jyotirlinga) - located in Maharashtra is revered as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. Triambakeshwar is the source of the river Godavari. Trimbakeshwar is a religious center having one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The extraordinary feature of the Jyotirlinga located here is its three faces embodying Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Rudra. After Pooja and darsan drive to Indore, enroute visit The Anjaneri (or Anjneri) mountain, located 7 km from Trimbakeshwar in the Nasik district, is also claimed as the birthplace of Lord Hanuman ji (if time permitted). Later continue journey to Indore. On arrival at Indore check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 19 : Indore/Omkareshwar/Indore (80 Kms/2 Hrs one way)
After breakfast proceed to visit Omkareshwar (Jyotirlinga) - located in Madhya Pradesh. It is located at a distance of about 12 miles from Mortakka in Madhya Pradesh. Omkareshwar: Omkareshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Shiva. It is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is on an island called Mandhata or Shivapuri in the Narmada river; the shape of the island is said to be like the Hindu ॐ symbol. There are two temples here, one to Omkareshwar (whose name means "Lord of Omkaara or the Lord of the Om Sound") and one to Mamleshwar (whose name means "Immortal lord" or "lord of the Immortals or Devas"). But as per the sloka on dwadash jyotirligam, Mamleshwar is the jyotirling, which is on other side of Narmada river. After Pooja and darshan, Return back to Indore. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 20 : Indore/Ujjain (60 Kms Drive)/Somnath (By Train)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Ujjain - an ancient city beside the Kshipra River in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. An important Hindu pilgrimage destination, it’s known for the centuries-old Mahakaleshwar Temple, a towering structure with a distinctively ornate roof. Nearby, Bade Ganesh Temple houses a colorful statue of Ganesh, the elephant-headed Hindu deity. Harsiddhi Temple features a pair of tall dark pillars studded with lamps. On arrival at Ujjain and visit Mahakaleswar Temple (Jyotirlinga)- one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingams, which are supposed to be the most sacred abodes of Lord Shiva. It is located in the ancient city of Ujjain. The presiding deity, Lord Shiva in the lingam form is believed to be Swayambhu, deriving currents of power (Shakti) from within itself as against the other images and lingams that are ritually established and invested with mantra-shakti. After Pooja and darshan you will proceed to city tour of Ujjain covering Harsiddi Mata Temple, Kal Bhairav temple. After dinner transfer to railway station to board the train to Somnath. Overnight at train.
Day 21 : Somnath
On arrival at Somnath, pick up from railway station and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 22 : Somnath/Dwarka/Nageshwar/Dwarka (250 Kms/5 1/2 Hrs.)
Early morning darshan of Somnath (Jyothirlinga) - situated on the south coast of Saurashtra. In the Shivapurana and the Nandi Upapurana, Lord Shiva is quoted as saying, `I am omnipresent, but I am especially in twelve forms and places.` These places are known as jyotirlingas and Somnath is the first to be found in the world. Around the linga the moon god Soma built a mythical temple of gold as an ode to Lord Shiva`s glory and compassion. Like the waxing and waning moon, and fittingly for a place associated with Lord Shiva`s cosmic dance of creative destruction, the Somnath temple has risen unfailingly from repeated acts of devastation.
After darshan and Pooja back to Hotel, check out from the hotel and drive to Dwarka. On arrival at Dwarka proceed straight to visit Nageshwar (Jyothirling) - located on the route between Dwarka city and Bet Dwarka Island on the coast of Saurashtra in Gujarat is this important Lord Shiva Temple. It is enshrined by one of the 12 swayambhu (self-existent) jyothirlingas in the world, in an underground sanctum. A 25 m tall statue of a sitting Lord Shiva. After Pooja and darshan of Nageshwar temple proceed to Bet Dwarka. Bet Dwarka - also known as Bet Shankhodhar, is a small island and was the main port in the region before the development of Okha. Dwarka as the original abode of Lord Krishna. In order to get there from Dwarka, one might need to first get to Okha port jetty. On the way visit Rukmani temple. Later check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 23 : Dwarka/Jamnagar (125 Kms/2 Hrs. Drive)/Mumbai by AI-648 (1250/1400) Departure
After early breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Jamnagar airport to board the flight to Mumbai and further connect the flight to onward destination.
