Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive Mumbai
On arrival at Mumbai, pick up from airport/railway station and transfer to hotel (Check in time at hotel is 1400 Hrs.). At evening visit Juhu beach - housing the residences of many bollywood celebrities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Mumbai
After breakfast proceed to Gateway of India and board on the sharing boat for the excursion of Elephanta Cave, boat will take one hour to brings you to the lush green Elephanta Island. Here, visit some of the huge and intricately carved Elephanta Caves that date back to the 8th century. For rows of massive columns cut into three-headed sculpture representing Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver and Shiva the Destroyer. Afternoon return from Elephanta cave and proceed for half day city tour covering Victoria terminal, Mani Bhawan, Rajbala Clock tower, Malabar hills, Juhu Beach. Also drive through marine drive. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Mumbai/Goa by Janshatabdi Train - 12051 (0525/1410)
Early morning check out from hotel and transfer to railway station to board the train to Madgaon (Goa). On arrival, pick up from railway station and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, you can go to enjoy a stroll around the beach or indulge in your favorite beach activity. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Goa
After breakfast proceed for city tour of Goa and Visit Fort Aguada, pay homage at the Basilica Bom Jesus - which is dedicated to Infant Jesus. The church has the sacred remains of St Francis Xavier. Also visit Se Cathedral, all these shrines feature a unique architectural style which speaks much about the heritage and craftsmanship of those times. Visit the Museum of Christian Art - which is one of its kind museum in Asia. The art hub is best known to house a collection of items like gold and precious stones and Rosaries. Visit Panjim - the capital of Goa. As you drive through the city enjoy viewing its unique colonial architecture. Walk through the city and flip back the pages of the Portuguese history who ruled the state for nearly 450 years. Besides, visit the bustling markets of Goa and shop for gifts and souvenirs. Enjoy your lunch at Panjim. Later visit some of the most beautiful beaches namely Dona Paula, Calangute, Baga and Miramar Beach. After sightseeing return to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Goa
Breakfast at Hotel.
Full day at leisure or explore the sandy beaches & enjoy water sports at your own. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Goa (Departure)
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to airport/railway station to board your flight/train to onward destination.
